OK i think me and my buddy have a problem

Me and buddy started working out last Monday, and this week we worked out again but are weaker this week then last week. What are we doing wrong.

You're not doing anything wrong buddy. You just started out. Your body is not used to the stress of weight lifting and it is taking what looks like more than a week to properly rest up and fully recover with strength gains. Remember, you work out, then recover, THEN grow. If you are still weak, just wait a few more days and eat a few more steaks. Thats all. Mass consumption of protein will aid in the recovery process. Patience friend...... You just started out. You will have bigger frustrations than this.

Thanks man thats what i figured well i really figured i needed more rest. But thanks again and thanks to this site i love it i can always get answers fast and right so u think we need more protein and rest. and should we not lift for a couple more days or change the weight or keep it the same or keep adding weight like we was doing?

Well all you've told us is that you are weaker w/o posting your diet. THAT is the reason you are weaker and being new to the sport. As CM stated there will many more frustrations in you journey.

So let us help you from the beginning. Post your diet, you workout plan. And we will get you dialed right in!!

Dnick, don't ever worry about being "weaker" and not being able to lift massive weights from the get-go. You've only just started on this course, and it will take a while for your body to get used to it.

Just eat well, rest lots and work your arse off every time you work-out and remember that it takes TIME too to make a body.

Coming from someone who used to workout with 5 pound dumbells, I know what I'm talking about...
