Canadian athletes did extremely well at the IFBB Women's Amateur World Championships Sept 23rd in Spain.
Johanna Dejager took the Silver Medal in the Lightweight Women's Bodybuilding,
Nathalie Tabouillet took home the Silver Medal in the Short Fitness Class and
Marnie Holey placed in the top-10 for the Tall Fitness Class.
On the mens side (Oct 23-26th, 2006), Canada received the following placings:
Bodybuilding up to and incl. 65 Kg: 7th place

Bodybuilding over 100 Kg: 15th place
Kevin Ferrell
Classic Bodybuilding up to 170 cm: tie for 11th place

Classic Bodybuilding over 178 cm: 5th place
