Weighted Crunches/Situps--Weight behind head or on chest?

The title is pretty self-explanatory. When doing regular or decline situps/crunches, should I hold the weight behind my head or on my upper chest?

Whatever. I do the weight behind my head because it's much harder and adds much more resistance. It's easier for me to hold one plate behind my head then it is to stack two on my chest.

I always have done it on my chest, but I can't claim to have proof that its better.
