I am not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes. I have been working out at the gym in the mornings, not extremely hard, as I have just started in the past month, but I am consistent -alternating upper and lower with trunk work outs, mostly between 35-50 pound weights with 3-4 reps at 12-15, trying to protect and build as much muscle as I can while losing a large amount of weight. I walk at night, at least five times a week, I try to do 30+ minutes each time (I walk as fast as I can comfortably, but just measure the time).
My question(s) are this. Is it normal to be so tired almost immediately after doing any kind of exercise? Should my feet be swelling every few days?
I make myself drink water during and after workouts, and I make sure I get 64+ ounces of water a day, way more at times. I take supplements to help with the process too. I take CLA (4000 mg a day, DHEA, DHA, Borage Oil, chromium picolinate, and Guarana). I am trying to eat the 50 carb/25 protein/25 fat that seems to be the general consensus for optimum. I am eating around 1500 to 2000 calories a day.
Is there something that I need to change? This instant tiredness is driving me nuts, I work out first thing in the morning so that I can have more energy, sometimes I can hardly drive home...
any help would be appreciated.
