Rep Power: 679 | Re: Need some opinions Okay so lets see if I can post these correctly. I've been at it for almost 6 months now I'll post one of my beginning shots and then one of my pics of me about 3 months in and I have two pictures that I just took the other day.
To summarize I started my cut 2.5 months ago. I was 222 pounds and I am now 200 pounds exactly. I originally thought I would have close to a 6 pack at 200 but as you can see it isn't happening. I'm seeing more definition but not nearly as much as I want. I'm of course concerned about dropping too low in weight because I don't want to lose a lot of my hard earned muscle.
By looking at the last pics, if you guys had to guess what would you say my BF is at and if I wanted to get a more defined 6 pack, how much more weight would I need to drop from 200 to get there?

Rep Power: 679 | Re: Need some opinions Weighed in at 196.6 this morning. I'll get a picture update once I'm at 195. It looks like I'll have to get closer to 190 to get the look I am looking for.
My question today is, when dieting like I am and trying to lose those last few pounds to get lean, should I be doing any sort of high carb day once every few days/week? I've read a lot about that and the pros and cons. On any given day I'm anywhere between 120 grams and 250 grams of carbs.
I would like to be at my ideal look 3 weeks from now. I am progressing as far as my weight goes, so should I just continue doing what I'm doing, or should I throw in a high carb day every now and then, or should I be lowering my carbs daily from the numbers I listed above and make those numbers my high carb days? |

You've changed your body into a machine Bro!!! Work w/ it. Do a 400g carb day on Sunday. See how you feel. You won't gain any fat from it and you body will actually use it to repair.

Rep Power: 679 | Re: Need some opinions Thanks for all of the help and encouragement, I really appreicate it. When those times come when all I can think about is junk food it helps make it easier knowing that there are people here that are/have gone through the same thing I'm doing now.
I've gotten very strict on my diet over the past couple of weeks. My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy. Freaking peanuts are a delicacy to me lately. The only supplements I take is a multi, creatine and 1-2 protein shakes a day. I'm contemplating starting an ECA stack. I've never done that before and am doing some reading up on it today. I've already got some Bronkaid at home that I bought sometime last year so if I decide to go the ECA route I'll just need to stop by the store real quick to pick up some caffiene pills and aspirin. |

It does get easier. I rarely eat crap. I may eat a McD's 2X/year. Had my first donuts in Vegas in 3 years!!! Tasted great, but it will do nothing for my goal.
Dude take a day and just eat some shit!! It will do you good. Trust me. It will help you a great deal. |
