I bumped into someone I used to know a few years back when I was doing my Holistic Therapy diploma, and I literally had to restrain myself from saying anything to her - luckily she didn't recognise me.
I just...Holy shit, I was almost shocked to tears.
The clothes she was wearing would have been too small for my ten year old daughter, her face looked like a skull with the skin stretched over it and through the top she was wearing, you could see all the bones in her spine and shoulders sticking out. She was all bent over and didn't walk, she shuffled like an old woman, and she's younger than me.
I know she could be ill or something, but it's the first time I've been so shocked I've almost burst into tears in public - and I only cry very rarely.
 It just makes me want to know why. Is that a bad thing?
