This is a supported exercise unlike a squat so the risk isnt as great unless hes got some shoulder issues. |

I was happy enough with the 3 reps, but yeah I may have been able to get a 4th. Sometimes I wouldn't mind having a training partner though! Quote:

Yeah, linkin park rules. Their newer stuff is a little bit emo though, but they still rule! |

Rep Power: 107397 | Don't go to complete failure when you're by yourself man. A local football player died a few month ago. I guess his parents made him lower the weight when nobody was home and he would routinely do 225 for reps but he was doing 205 or something and dropped it on his neck and ended up dying.
While it was a freak accident, still better safe then sorry. Also it's been shown that going to complete failure every set is very taxing on the CNS and is counter productive. You definitely want to hit complete failure but it's probably not necessary all every set.
A few weeks from now post up the video of you getting it up for 5 reps |

Rep Power: 3510 | Yeah, thats why I'm always hesitant about going for that extra rep on bench. Most other stuff, I'll go for it. But bench is different because its a hard situation to get out of... I've had to do it before and I learned my lesson! It hurts and its a little scary!
5? I'll post up a vid of me getting it for 6 in a few weeks! |
