I remember you had some shoulder problems, do behind the neck pulls bother you? Some people say that they can mess up yout shoulders pretty good

The problems are still there, but this machine has a "curve" in the motion and it feels fine. Wanna trade shoulders??

still, behind the head is throwing your shoulder off the plane they're suppose to be, I thought the machine I used was fine but once I stopped goin behind the head alot of shoulder pain disappeared... yeah I know I dunno if it's shoulder pain u get but just somethin if it is...

I always get told different things about behind or in front of the neck on pull downs. I do behind the neck, always have done, probably always will do.
I always get skinny ass (skinnier than me!) people come up to me and tell me I'm damaging my back and should pull them down in front of me, but everything i've read contadicts itself on the matter. So I'll stick with what works for me, behind the head, until something changes my mind.

Edit:
Also BG, not wanting to diss at all, you don't get a very large ROM do you? You're 3 times my size so I don't even think it's possible for me to be demeaning in any way :P

I guess behind the neck pull/presses are ok if your shoulders are flexible enough, if not, they can cause an injury. I've never had any problems with them though...

No Worries my friend......
These were at the end of my workout. I focus on flaring my lats and keep them under constant fatigue. They do get a bit painfull, almost like a cramp. Earlier sets I go FROM. I am a big believer in the muscle stretch at the top. Again....WORK THE MUSCLE!

As far as behind the neck...this was light weight. 135 on a machine. I will try to get some side vid to show the curving ROM. I only go light and High reps behind neck. They do hurt my shoulders if I go heavy and low reps. So usually 12 -15 reps at the end of the workpout. I have to try different angles to minimize the effect on my AC.
