Anger

Anyone have any tips for me to help me with my anger, I sorta got into a very big fight today and I never want it to happen again.

well here's a couple tips:

1. fight - that get's rid of anger (but i sea you don't wanna do that anymore)
2. take some deep breaths and walk away
3. ignore whoever is trynna edge you on
4. buy a punching bag so you can unload on that
5. if you get worked up go to the gym and lift some weights for 10 minutes or so
6. if you get mad punch the cement/concrete/pavement floor hard...any time i do that i forget the anger cuz i'm in quite a bit of pain.

1-I love to fight but no one to physically fight is around when I usually get angry.
2-doesnt work
3-I wish it could be easy as just saying it
4-Already have one, that helps insanely, but its in my basement, and for some reason i neglected it untill about 30min after the fight
5-Did that after the bag today.

6-Dont wana do that again, i compressed a knuckle and fractured a finger punching a pole when i found out my parents were getting a divorce lol and plus I want to continue to train, not break my hand. Thank you though
-Edit- oh and i get even more pissed i hurt my hand, then i go crazy

When trying to understand the origins of anger( and this what you are asking I think) it is crucial to understand where those that angered you are coming from. Seems you do not in this case, or you would not be angry without understanding. But asking is a great first step. You gave very little information, but based on your short question, it sounds like frustration, that is a communication problem.

Thank you for your help but im asking ways to control my anger. Im not sure how it all started, my dad is the same way as me with his anger, it took him to 50 to subside it, and hes still not all okay. When i was little i used to see him flip things/throw things, and thats where i think i get my "rampage" from. I feel like a horrible son, you dont even wana know the things i did to my mother today. Its not right and i know it, its just hard, i cant even explane it.

No not divorce lol, I WANT TO CONTROL MY ANGER, i was just explaning a situation when i got angry, read what I wrote in the above posts. And you said i gave to little information, the post you quoted was how i think my anger started. OR it could be genetically passed down from my father, if possible.

k well your not supposed to punch it hard enough to fracture something...just hard enough to take your mind off the anger and focus on the pain.
