I like:
- Gonzaga
- Koscheck
- Grove
- Stevenson
- Sobral
- Huerta
- Mir
- Aurelio
- Lutter
I want Randy to win so much, too much. That's why I'm picking Gonzaga really. It's a coil flip but I think Gonzaga will catch him with something big in the 2nd round, most likely some GnP style elbows much like the ones in the Cro-cop fight.
Koscheck vs. GSP is a real tough one to pick. GSP is the favorite but they are so similar in speed, size and strength that it will be all about execution that night. Again I'm picking an upset 2nd round KO for this one. Koscheck is a bit more cerebral and obviously has no problem adhering to a gameplan so I like Kos' chances.
Grove vs. Cote is another real interesting fight. Cote is an all out slugger that comes forward constantly which is entertaining, but it's been his downfall as well. His submission defense has shown to be fairly weak in the past, we'll see if he's worked on it. Grove on the other hand is becoming a monster at 185. He's improved a great deal and his last few appearances has been very impressive. With his reach advantage and the utilization of the Thai clinch he showed us against
Alan Belcher he should be able to win this fight no matter where it takes place. I see Grove winning quickly, 1st round submission.
The only other fight I'm really interested in is Aurelio vs. Guida. I haven't seen much of Aurelio, but he does have a victory over top lightweight
Takanori Gomi. Guida brings it every time so we know this will be a good one. Too bad we might not get to see it as it's on the undercard.
All in all this is another great card, I can't wait!
