I'd like to say I have a solid base. We did lots of take downs, take down defense, and ground control/positioning. We did some sparring but I never competed. My trainer said I would I was ready for an amateur fight if I wanted but he ended up not being able to train us anymore so it kind of just fell off.

ahh man thats dissapointing that it had to end after you came so far with the training, why did your trainer stop? , lol i bet the training and conditioning was tiring,

It is really not that big of a deal. I didn't plan on going too far with it. It was great experience and when it comes to self defense I'll never forget most of the stuff I learned. Stuff like submissions maybe but the stuff like sprawling, take downs, and ground positioning we did so much it's like riding a bike. For that I'm happy because it's good self defense.

thats pretty cool how the feeling for that stuff stays in, like moves and stuff, definitly good for self defense but i doubt any body is gonna want to mess with ya anyway lol.

But now I've moved and havn't found anything suitable here, but I still do my aikido and jujitsu when I go home.
