Obama fear mongering.... what's new...

he's now saying we have to pass this stimulus bill immediately or we are doing irreversible damage if his stimulus package doesn't pass.

We're not going to recover if we don't:
re-sod the national mall,
give millions to acorn,
give money to national endowment of the arts,
resurface ATV trails,
do 335M for std prevention,
have 650M. for digital TV coupons,
have 430M for the smithsonian,
have 600M for new government cars,
upgrade computers at the dept. of agriculture,
move the public health service to a new building
give millions to amtrack (even tho they're not profiting for decades)
have 400M for global warming research.

Wow, pass this bill now.....

well sdb...now you know where to go look for a job. ATV re-pave...outside in the sun and fresh air....oh wait....it will be a "good ol' boy" getting that contract. didn't mean to get your hopes up

I hope you are having some success w/ jobs. I was unemployed From Aug1 to Jan 24. Hang in there.

Global warming isn't a Al Gore thing. Global warming is a FACT. The debatable part is the cause.

So everybody hates the stimulas idea?

So what's the other proposal? Do nothing and hope everything magically fixes itself? I'm not necessarily FOR the stimulas but I do WHOLE heartedly agree in upgrading our infrastructure, investing in science/technology, improving education, and reducing our foreign oil dependency.

The fact is Obama doesn't know whether the stimulas will work. But he does not for a fact doing nothing will NOT work.

I don't believe they can prove it.

No, Al gore didn't create global warming, but he sure advertised it enough.

Telling me polar bears are dying because they can no longer cross ice patches doesn't make me worried about anything. I walk outside and freeze my balls off, maybe polar bears should have thought about coming here?
I'm no scientist, but I know it is a very debated subject and isn't unanimously accepted...so I'm not dropping my money on it.

My point was that I'm not 100% saying that global warming is caused by us. I'm just saying that it's a 100%, without a shadow of a doubt, fact that global warming is occurring. The actual cause, whether human or natural, is debatable.
