This country was built on Christian Fundamental Beliefs. I don't care if you're religious or not, because you have an absolute right not to be, but that fact remains. Now, a few hundred years later we have multiple religions, multiple races, and different ideals between them. Now, I don't care what you believe, think, or feel about an issue. The right to think what you wish is yours to have, whereas the right to act on those thoughts is NOT. This country started to fail when we allowed peoples thoughts to rule. Everyone had to become accepted for who they were, every religion(or lack of) had to be respected to the point where nobody's is.
We are now living in a country which would throw the founding fathers in prison for being intollerant. What a joke! You cannot have so many different people in one location without having the problems we do. I'm not racist, but I believe everyone has a place they belong, and most people do not belong together.
The people that created this country would be on the verge of insanity, and no doubt would be attempting to overthrow our government at this point.
