I try not to eat carbs at all unless it's my first meal (I have a bowl of Alpen high fruit specifically for the fibre), but other than that, I never really think about it all.
Do you think they could in some way hinder or help pre/post-workout? |

Rep Power: 101851 | Post work out should be quik absorbing cabs and protein. Fibre will work in the later meals. |

since fiber slows digestion, post workout isn't when you want it slowing you nutrients from digesting and absorbing. |

Rep Power: 222437 | When I first saw that article, I thought about stopping eating oat post workout because they are slow absorbing with high fibre, but the more I researched, the more people I found said they saw good results having oats in a post workout shake.
I actaully have some simple carbs and creatine and BCAAs straight after working out, and then about 15 - 20 mins later have my big shake. |
