Rep Power: 100796 | SDB's "Questionable" Diet Plan Here's a simple way to clean up your diet. Prior to eating something, ask yourself, "Did man make this?" If the answer is "Yes," don't eat it. If the answer is "No," enjoy it while maintaining portion control. Sample Meal: Breakfast
Eggs
Oats
Fruit Sample Meal: Snack
Protein shake (these are okay)
Almonds Sample Meal: Dinner
Chicken
Corn
Beans
Carrots
Tomato Sample Meal: Post Workout
Protein Shake (there's really no way around this one)
Fruit of choice Sample Meal: Supper
Fish or other meat source
Garden Salad
Baked Potato or steamed rice
See? It's that simple. Plus it gets you valuable nutrients and lots of fiber. Just remember at each meal to have a protein source!!

would peanut butter constitute "man-made"???
if it does, I cannot follow this plan SDB
I always tell all of my clients pretty much the same thing...
if it comes in a machine sealed plastic package, avoid it!
I also try to make my point that it isn't cheating once a week on a diet that kills someone, its when someone cheats and says "hell with it...I cheated once might as well quit" attitude that kills them(happens more than you might think). My biggest point to most is to stop snacking before bed! That and not eating enough are the two biggest problems I see! of course, the 2nd leads to the first!
people are astonished when I tell them to eat nuts, cottage cheese, or yogurt before bed...believing the hype that some publicized nutritionists created about not eating 3 hours before bed. People get so excited when they find out they can eat before bed lol! I just make sure they know that the plastic package rule still applies then too!
...oooh, almost forgot about breakfast. 90% of the people that have a consultation with me don't eat when they wake up, nor do they eat within the first 3 hours of waking up. Think about it--3 hours before bed, 7 hours of sleep, 4 hours after?????? so, they're starving their body for 14+ hours...and then only manage to cram a measly 600 or less calories in before they sleep. thats not enough for a anorexic midget.

if it does, I cannot follow this plan SDB | natural peanut butter is okay. check the sugar and salt content. Smuckers has a natural version that's only peanuts. Comes in creamy or crunchy and you have to mix (or pour out) the peanut oil. |

am i buying the right stuff? | see if you did more research here you would find a post by me that states you only count "animal" protein. Oat protein is incomplete. so oats w/ a 40-50g of protein shake w/ it.
See where ahe wrote EGGS w/ the oats!!! that works also. 8 eggs!! |
