it depends on your schedule and tolerance for eating high protein foods. Of course, whole meals are best but you can put 2 or 3 shakes in there. Shakes are not for when you don't have enough time. They are so you can cram more protein into your stomach without having to try to eat as much food as it would take to reach the same ammount of daily protein grams.

Lately, Ive been taking protein shakes with breakfast and lunch, and then another at about 3 in the afternoon. It's so I can fit more protein in.

This might be a stupid question..... but should i be running because i dont want to get fat on my stomach.........I feel like all this food is going to go straight to my stomach........I dont have a big belly but its not flat either...... I just dont want to get a big stomach.....

Cardio is always a must. You won't burn that many cals in 30 minutes, BUT the benefit for the heart will be well worth it. You ever see the BIG guys huffin and puffin just to get to the fountain. I NOW a true believer in the cardio side of training. I'm soon to be 46 and can kick 98% of the peoles ass in my gym when it comes to cardio....even the "cardio class teachers" Still have some good size, no monster by any means. But I still get stares in the gym. Mostly from Strawser......He wants to be me! LOL
