I get most of my calories from the oats in my shakes. Is it bad to get too many calories from just oats? I caNT SEEM TO GET ALL THE CALORIES ANY OTHER WAY
Its not that many calories but I was just wondering if it matters where your calories come from. In each shake I have 3/4 c. of oats for 6 grams of fat, 12 grams of protein, 73 carbs, and 450 calories. thats all from oats. it makes my total carbs in a day 332 wich is a little over what Im supposed to get, and 2,700 calories. I weigh 137 lbs.
Seems low on the protein. You should be getting a gram of protein per lb of body weight. Hard to do if your protein is only 12 g in breakfast. Ad a protein source.
