I want to go to watch the Britains Strongest Man contest this year after watching last year on the telly.
Anyone been before? Im guessing i won't stand out like a sore thumb in the audience since the crowd last year looked like they'd been dragged from their homes kicking and screaming (it was raining heavy!). Do any of you guys go regularly? Do you have to buy tickets? |

Apparently the athletes don't even know where/when it is until 6 weeks before the event. Should be sometime in May this year.

I love Terry Hollands - he's just like a big teddy bear  And in interviews he's so humble and good natured, lovely guy.

If it's not too far from where I live, I'd love to go!!!
I'm guessin there's be a fee to get it the 'grounds' of where ever it is that it's staged..
Yeh cab, Darren Saddler was good this year considering he is only young.. pretty good physique too for a strongman, not overly 'fat', pretty good shape..

Yeah, like Darren Saddler too. When he's reaching his limit his face goes so red i think he's gonna pop! He's so short though, it goes against him for some of the events.
