When i first started 2 years ago i was 118 at the start of season, now i am a constant 150, with no height gain, (as im still a teen). I was wondering if anyone here also wrestles or boxes, (i spar with friends weekly and am getting a rep for being strong, even tho im a skinny ass pale kid). |

Back in high school, I was a skinny skater. Yeah, I could ollie impossible over a 6 foot gap, but I was known as a skinny skater who weighed 150 and bench press 240. Nobody could figure it out. If I could go back, I would throw the skateboard in the middle of the freeway, and join wrestling. |

Im thinkin of starting judo to help wrestling in my off season as im hoping to make all ontario's next season, in 9 months or so lol so i got time to train. i love boxing people 30 pounds heavier or so, cause they hate it when they realizes im not as skinny as i should be aha. and i've had a decent diet and been following my workout routine lately and seeing some gains, its nice. |

Well you can say my shaolin high elevation training helped. I did not fight kung fu style, but the styles and techniques I learned and mastered helped, through controlling my breathing and controlling my fist, arms, hip, legs, shoulders.
Styles:
Qixing Quan = Seven star fist
Da Pao Quan = Big cannon fist
Qi Lu Quan = Seven animal fist
Techniques:
Long = Dragon technique
Dan Dao = Single sabre technique
You should try meditating, it helps on getting you strong, its a phenomena not proven but it works for me.

Mostly ground positing, takedown, takedown defense, ground and pound, basic submissions (triangle, arm bars, key locks, et. The best money I've ever spent. Learned more that would translate into self defense in the real world in that class then I would have in 5 years of karate. We did strikes to0 but just the basics like how to throw your hips into punches and kicks. We did lots of flexibility work as well. By then end of it I could throw a solid leg kick to someone's face. Not anymore. |

A couple years in college, too. These pics are right from their school's website; why would they make you feel disturbed? The wrestlers aren't bothered. |
