you should look into some nighttime recovery sups...like ZMA. (zinc, magnesium, vitamin b6). after intense workouts, your body stop producing these nutrients. they are essential to muscle development and growth. adding ZMA to your sups, taken 1hr or so before bedtime, will ensure your body gets back what it lost.
