Well im running low on my whey protein (about 4 scoops left) but my mom has some Isopure that she doesn't use. I don't really feel like spending anymore money so i was wondering what you guys thought about this stuff.

50grams in one serving is a lot! You could cut that in half and get a lot more milage out of it, esp. if you're mixing it with stuff that already has some protein (milk mayhaps?) Lucky you, stumbling upon whats considered the crem de la crem of protein powders...I wouldn't buy it myself just because its superiority (and to what level) is debated, and you'd probably be better off buying more food with that extra cash...but if its free, HELLZ YEAH!

i think youre only supposed to mix with with water or something. i may be mistaken. im pretty happy with 50g's per serving since i only really take my protein post workout.

You can mix it beer if you wanted to . Good stuff, taste good. Not the best for throughout the day, but PWO it's great.

I wouldn't know! But from everyones responses.. it good sh*t!

If it says take with water, its because its thick. I remember trying Pro M.R. with milk.. it was so thick it would have stayed in the jug if i turned it upside down!! lol

Yea the meal replacements are thick but whey protein isolate is actually really "thin". It'll pretty much completely disolve with a few swirls of the spoon, well at least the brand a sampled.

50 grams versus 23. Well I think it depends on how many scoops and how big the scoop is. GNC's is 23g per 1 scoop serving, they also have a 60g protein....GUESS WHAT....it is 3 scoops. So which is better?
Isopure is an awesome Protein, not high in the taste column though.

Typically, a serving size of Isopure is 2 scoops.

If you're getting it free, great. But IMO, don't waste your money on buying more unless you REALLY like the taste. The couple flavors I've had though, I thought tasted like crap.
