Rep Power: 0 | Acai Fire for Men First I want to say I'm glad to find this forum. Looks like a ton of good info here.
I have a specific issue I'm trying to tackle - my goal is to simultaneously build (or at least retain) muscle mass while lowering my body fat. Historically I've been able to do either one or the other, depending on training approach, but not both. Right now I'd like to drop maybe 5-8lbs of fat but not lose any muscle.
I was doing research on supplements that could maybe help and came across one I was unfamiliar with - Acai Fire for Men - anybody have any experience with this?
I read an article posted on the internet from some guy who seems to just share his experience with it. I can't post a link but if you search google for 'acai fire for men' its the 4th result (the hubpages one).
He claims he dropped fat and retained mass, etc. - exactly what I'm trying to do.
Anyway I'm really hoping somebody here might have some experience with this Acai Fire supplement. I'd like to know more before (or if) I try it.
And if anyone has something else they can suggest do share! |

| Pretty much every supplement claims that.
I never heard of it. |

Rep Power: 101357 | Re: Acai Fire for Men Acai has become famous here in America in recent years. From what I've seen, it started with the mlm company called "Mona Vie." Acai is the predominant ingredient in their juice. People say that they get all kinds of different benefits from drinking it. Ok, cool. I'm a distributor myself. I like it. But everybody is jumping on the bandwagon, and trying to sell it for whatever they can say it cures.
All in all, almost anything Acai is a scam, and will not do what they say it will do. It does taste damn good, and I get the same mild stimulant effect from it that I get from carrot juice. But thats about all. |

I decided to give Acai Fire a shot...
Been taking it for about a week or so now. I'll grant the one poster that it does taste good but that's the last thing I care about in a supplement.
So far not much news to report. I am down about two pounds though with no other change in diet or routine.
I'll post again if there is anything significant to share. |

Rep Power: 101357 | Re: Acai Fire for Men I got involved with mona*vie earlier this year because the stuff tastes great, is loaded with antioxidants, and surprisingly, it helped me stay awake all day long. Wide awake. I'm a truck driver, and thats important. Anyway, one guy told me it helps people lose weight. Then he told me it helps people put weight on. He was just saying whatever he thought I wanted to hear. |

I'm as skeptical as most of you are about Acai. Well I'm pretty skeptical about most things anyway. Most of the stuff I tried was worthless, at best. And I swear Hydroxycut was the reason I developed two herniated discs in my neck (seemingly healed, mostly - fingers perpetually crossed) which was the most pain I've ever had to deal with. Made my knee reconstruction feel like a hangnail.
Sometimes something will seem to work out. Take for example Goji Juice - I laughed at my friend when he first told me about it. Eventually I tried it, and though I don't take it now I became a big believer in that stuff. I really should go back to taking goji, but that's another issue.
I also laughed at Anator, but I swear that stuff works; as far as I know its just a fancy Gatoraide.
I don't understand why or how but Acai Fire really seems to make a difference for me. My weight per set is up over 10% in most movements (bench and military are the highest gainers), same rep counts, and that was after quite a long 'plateau' period. I am definitely leaner too; I see the change but mostly I feel it (the way clothes fit). This is the ONLY thing I changed in my program. All other supps (Anator, protein supps, creatine) are unchanged, and diet is basically the same.
It might be worth it to get off Acai fire a while and see if anything changes.
I'm not looking for validation from you guys, I'm just sharing info. People need to decide things for themselves. |
