Creatine, Pre Workout, Or Neither?

Which supplement would you recommend, if any, of the two. I've taken both before, at different times, and can't come to a conclusion which works better. I'm currently taking Whey protein, a multivitamin, and fish oil caplets, should I bother using creatine or a pre workout?

Re: Creatine, Pre Workout, Or Neither?

you only listed one supplement, so I guess out of the choice of creatine or creatine I would probably pick creatine.

If you have the money to spend on creatine, try it. Buy some creatine monohydrate and use it for a month. If you are going to sacrifice food for creatine, don't even think about it.

So I take it your implying creatine and a pre workout supplement are the same? The way I was told they were two totally different supplements.

If your other supplement would be nitric oxide, pick creatine. A lot of pre-workout supps actually contain creatine...maybe find one with both.

Re: Creatine, Pre Workout, Or Neither?

At your age I wouldn't even bother with creatine your going to see plenty of progress with a good workout regimen and diet.

If your set on creatine I would just get some creatine monohydrate, it's dirt cheap and imho works just as good as all the newer so called improved forms.

Like straw said most of your pre-workout NO supplements have some form of creatine in them, might want to give them a shot but for the $$ you can't beat just pure creatine mono powder.

Re: Creatine, Pre Workout, Or Neither?

I take creatine post-workout, but it probably doesn't make that much difference when you take it.
