confused A Few Question

Hey All

Just a few questions about some suppliments:

1) I work on my feet all day and most days I'm worn out by workout time. Is there anything highly recommended to help me maintain a high energy level from atleast noon-5pm. Or maybe some good pre-workout stuff to get me amped w/o a heart attack lol?

2)So many different things about post workout protiens or mixes. Anyone have something that they recommend? I used to take ON (optimum nutrition) but just wondering if there might be something better.

3)During a bulk phase, should I totally skip the gym and for how long? I've read you should do 3 months on / 3 off for cutting / bulking.

Make sure you're always eating solid carbs, protein, and good fat. A good diet will do a lot toward keeping your energy levels up. Anything above that you would want to start with anything that has caffeine in it (coffee)

Really doesn't make too much difference what protein you use as long as you get it in your system after your workout, the biggest thing is making sure you get your post workout MEAL with plenty of carbohydrates and protein. If you can get a meal within an hour of training you really dont even need to buy powder, however protein and carbs are both very important after training so just make sure you get them in

Other than the occasional off-week to give yourself some rest there isn't a time that you don't want to be hitting the weights. As long as you are capable of weight training (meaning you don't have a fever of 102 or are throwing up everywhere) you should be hitting the weights, whether you're trying to gain mass or cut. Don't let those two phrases fool you either, you want to be eating relatively clean regardless of your goals, just more of it if you're trying to put on size and less if you're trying to cut up
