1. Read as much as you can before you ask ignorant questions.
2. Use the search button before creating a new thread.
3. You will not become Arnold Schwarzenegger after 3 workouts!
4. It takes months to see good results.
5. Use proper training & nutrition
6. Eat healthy foods, not McDonalds, KFC, or w/e.
7. Eat at least 1.5g-2g of protein per pound of body weight each day.
(Example: 100 lbs person = needs 150-200 grams of protein a day)
8. Don't buy a bunch of supplements, especially expensive/hyped ones.
9. Stick to the basics, whey and a multivitamin.
10. Don't buy fat burners, they are over-priced caffeine pills.
11. You should be eating about twice as much carbs as you do protein.
12. You must eat good fats. Do not eat saturated/trans fats.
13. Don't look for shortcuts.
14. Eat 7 meals a day.
15. Sit-ups do not = 6-pack of abs
16. Low bodyfat percentage = visible abs (6-pack)
17. Stop complaining and start eating.
18. Set goals, rome wasn't built in a day.
19. Workout for a year and you will then see good results.
20. Stop worrying about your bench.

Dude I appreciate your help, but please do not in future respond horribly like this. ''If you can't follow these guidelines, then STFU and take up golf!
''

I am just giving you a warning now!

its 100-150g of protein for a 100lb guy usually only pros do 2g per pound of bodyweight, plus you can have like mcers or kfc once a week for the cheat meal, but dont like order 20happy meals....alot of people like pizza as a cheat meal though, cause it usually has like veges, and it takes 1 or 2years to see good result, but in a few months you would notice a bit of diffrence , btw change #4 and #19...

Overall that is a pretty good guide but in reality when we get more people coming in here what do you think the chances of the majority of new lifters will actually read through something like this?

I don't think 14 should be changed. 7 is a perfect number if you can afford that much time to eat

Yeah thats definitely a good one ^^^
Many teens have egos the size of Ronnie Coleman and are too worried about impressing people w/ the amount of weight that they are lifting.
