mondays weights
tue cardio
wed weights
thur cardio
etc...
On the cardio days should i be doing hiit? or normal cardio and then hiit once per week?

Rep Power: 222437 | I prefer HIIT all the time when I actually do it!
steady state cardio burns more fat durning the time you are actually doing the cardio (30 mins for example)
HIIT uses more carbs for energy during the cardio, but then burns more fat for a long period after cardio has stopped - more than what the same steady state cardio would have burnt..
One think - whats your stats? how come you are doing a 'cut'? |

Rep Power: 1455 | people say dont cut at my stats atm, 145lbs 5,9 14% bf, but i just want to see myself with abs, ive never had them, but as soon as i can see them im going to bulk up.
and ive read a article saying if you cut then bulk up its easier to get rid of fat and you dont look as fat.
and im only cutting for 5 weeks |

and im only cutting for 5 weeks | To be honest Andy, 5 weeks isn't really a good time scale to cut bf down. You're only 14% too (I'm about that too)
I just mentioned my thoughts on this in your journal mate and the reasoning behind it...
Basically, I reckon with a spot on diet, you could lose the fat anyway with about 8 week while doing a 'muscle building' routine/diet |
