The 10 side effects consisted of low energy, irritability, acne, tension, being uncharacteristically bossy, feeling "high," hair loss, testicular atrophy, decreased amount of ejaculate, and breast tenderness. The presence of side effects was assessed at every study occasion."
Presenting Sexual Problems
Four men reported no loss of sexual interest but only sexual dysfunction problems, and 12 reported loss of sexual interest and no sexual dysfunction problems. The other 64 men complained of both diminished sexual interest and sexual dysfunction. Only eight men complained exclusively of sexual problems: the others had at least one ancillary problem (i.e., depressed mood, low energy, weight loss, poor appetite). | |
