I was unsatisfied and making lots of money was not changing that. I felt pretty happy, but unfulfilled. So I took alook around at my life, everything I did was for me and furthering my owning cool stuff. Sounds great eh? Trust me it is, but there is more to life and greater things. I started volunteering in a dementia ward of a hospital for life relief, and one day I just walked out of my job. My wife supported my decision and I spent a year with my son and daughter enjoying life. I choose to go into nursing after that year, to help people. I wanted front line and to me that is nursing, not being a doctor...well at 39 there was a mortgage and life to think about too Still it has been a good decision, and I suppose I will work my way into my masters, as I have always gone as far as I can into a chosen field. Time will tell. | |
