Rep Power: 3 | Haven't gone in a long time, whats up guys? I know I haven't gone on for a very long time. So I have 2 and 1/2 months left until my bulking cycle ends. Chest press (machine), I can do 4 sets of 150 lbs.
The gym that was undergoing renovation re-opened early than I expected, so I went back there. There was 2 chest press machines, the normal chest press and the chest incline.
The chest incline was harder than I expected, the most comfortable weights in the chest incline machine is 90lbs and thats it. I felt weak. Is the chest incline suppose to be hard?
Here is my workout so far:
Monday: Biceps/Triceps/Shoulders
Tuesday: Chests/Triceps
Wednesday: Abs/Obliques/Biceps
Thursday: Chests/Shoulders/ and a tiny bit of workout for my triceps
Friday: Upperback/Lowerback.
NO training for my legs, my advanced p.e class trains my legs, 2 or 3 times a week.
My max on the lats machine (dual lats I think) is 1 rep of 290 lbs w00t. |

Why so much arm work? If you wanna hit the body parts twice a week space them out. Doing shoulders on Monday followed by chest on Tuesday is no good, not to mention you already did triceps the day before.
Monday- chest/tris/shoulders
tuesday- back/ bis
Wed- off
Thursday- chest/tris/ shoulders
Fri- back/bis
You said you're wanting to bulk. You aren't going to gain 1lb of muscle doing what I posted or what youre currently doing. Unless you're squatting 3 days a week at school legs need to be done. Focus on compound movements like dead lifts, bench press, squat, row, shoulder press... exercises that involve more then 1 muscle group. It seems to me that you just want big arms.
Try this
Monday- chest or shoulders
Tuesday-back/bis or legs
Wed off
Thursday- legs or back/bis
Friday- shoulders or chest
Make sure that you are hitting everything in that week you can flip them around just make sure that chest and shoulders are spaced apart. |

I experimented with the 4 day workout thing, and the 5 day workout. they are pretty good. But now I am working out 6 times a week. "It is easy to under eat than it is to over train"- that quote is from strawser, i will always remember that.
I am a balanced fighter, you never see a monk or a balanced fighter that has a fat ass. So no thank you in the deadlifts.
For the chests, I always use the chest press machine. It primarily works out your chest, and works out a little bit of your triceps and shoulders. The day I workout on my chest, I eat ALOT, because i always get sore. So only 2 days for my chests.
I missed out 2 days of my workout about 2 weeks ago, so I started with my whole back on monday, by the time I got to day 4 my 2nd chest workout, I had little energy to even use the chest press machine. That is why my friday workout- whole back, I always get it worked out pretty good, and it is the last. It is like an energy pyramid.
My new saturday workout, I will just workout every muscle, minimum 2 sets for each.
I guess I can do this:
Monday: Biceps/Triceps/Shoulders
Tuesday: Chests/min-triceps/min-shoulders
Wednesday: Abs/Obliques ( I am taking out biceps)
Thursday: Chests/min-triceps/shoulder workout
Friday: Whole back
saturday: Biceps/Triceps/Abs/Obliques/Chests/Upper Back |

saturday: Biceps/Triceps/Abs/Obliques/Chests/Upper Back | Like the lads are trying to say you'll get no where with this. You do know that your not building muscle in the gym... Your breaking it down in the gym and when you rest and eat you build back up the muscle tissue bigger and stronger.
Now if you do triceps on Monday then again on tuesday not only will you not be able to work your chest 100% but your breaking down your tri's mon and then even more on tues and not giving them time to regrow = No gains, you'll actually be going backwards...
Try somethin like this:
Monday: Chest/Triceps
Tuesday: Back/Biceps
Wednesday: Shoulders/abs/Obliques
Thursday: Legs You'll need this
Friday: Chest/Triceps
Saturday: Back/Biceps
This way your giving yourself time to grow and get back to 100% so you'll be giving it all the next workout eg For chest & Tri's, you'll work them and they cah grow until fri then hit them hard again... |

saturday: Biceps/Triceps/Abs/Obliques/Chests/Upper Back | What you posted is better but still needs work. I am telling you man and so is everyone else you cant work the same muscle every day. Give it a 2 day rest. Why no dead lifts? Who said it will give you a fat ass? If you wanna work just upper body and have pencil legs then do this, throw in abs 2-3 times a week. Its still a shitty workout. Doing back on a monday should have anything to do with a bad workout 4 days later due to no energy, sounds like you need to eat
Monday- Back/ bis
Tuesday- chest tris shoulders
Wed-off
Thursday-back bis
Fri chest/ tirs/ shoulders |

For thursday, Ill add some lower back exercises since I only do like 1 set of lower back exercise in back days. If that is ok?

Leave legs on one day on their own...
When your doing your back do deadlifts and hyperextensions thats 2 exercises that will work your lower back and if your doing back twice per week thats plenty of lower back work... |

Why you so set on not doing anything for your legs??? | ha thanks. My pe class worksout my legs 2-3 times a week. I heard cardio was useless at this cycle but my teacher said it will give me endurance. Are you sure about my plan?the machines I use all workout shoulders, looks back machine works out entire back with shoulders, neck, and bis. I do allot of chest press and incline. Looks like I'm gonna have o be working out my shoulders 5 days in a row? not shoulders alone but the compound movement in the machine works it out. |
