Do you like squats?

I know many people don't, and that's stupid because squats are the best exercise you can do. I really like them, and I'd like to see if I'm not the only one. (and I'm not asking if you do them, only if you like them)

I think they are boring but I do them anyway because they show the most growth out of any excercise.

I use to hate them. Then I hurt my back and could not do them for over 6 months. Since going back to doing them (about 4 months ago), I love them. Could be the "new-ness" factor.

I like squats. They should be the staple of any workout. I cant stand to see workouts that use leg press in its place, thats ridiculous.

I actually like Squats, but one thing I hate when you have like a few reps left about 2 left or so, that's when you feel sick and dazy. Before anyone says it my breathing is fantastic ok, its Natural to happen. I have fainted a couple of times and puked, but it dosen't matter I am up 5 mins and back to it. Its all worth it in the end.

I like squats just not the "oh shit I'm about to throw up dizzy" feeling I get sometimes after my 5th or 6th set. The more and more I do them the less and less I get that feeling.

As my workout partner says," It's not a good leg day, unless you feel like puking"

I like squats myself, but yea they are intense. Just a tip that has helped me with the dizziness is yes, the breathing, but also keeping your head and neck forward. What typically happens is the bar causes the torso to lean forward, so the natural reaction is to tilt the head up and back as well as extend the neck back. This position compresses what is known as the vertebral artery, which supplies blood to the brain - that is the cause of the dizziness etc.

So watch the neck posture and don't lean the neck back and tilt the head up.

LOVE squats, I don't throw up every time, but I usually come pretty close. Nothing worse than finally making it to your car and right away losing it all in the gym parking lot. I used to avoid them because I never wanted to get hurt but I got my form down great and now I never train legs without hitting up squats. With that being said I never miss a leg day either. Funny how everyone has a good reason as to why they don't have to train legs or squat.
