It seems that the debate over hypertrophy vs. strength is not a sound as one might think at least in my opinion, because I believe if you do a nice mix of low weight high reps, then high weight low reps you can get both all the while you are still doing your normal body building routine. I noticed just with in the past month that training in this way my strength gains for just a good and my “size" gains. Although I would recommend going heavy on the last set or two, and when I do a "power set" I’ll attempt to hit a set number of rep or failure which ever occurs first. |
