An injury(not completely sure if it is?!)

Earlier I was playing football. I felt a slight pain in the back on my knee(in the middle of the area, if that makes sense) while running a pass. I kept playing and after a while it'd hurt to walk. Now if I bend it to far and walk on my heel it hurts. Is this a serious injury or will it blow over in a few days with rest?

Re: An injury(not completely sure if it is?!)

Is there any swelling? When you felt the pain were you running straight or did the pain hit when you were shifting your weight left to right? Your best bet would be to see a doctor and find out for sure just to be safe, could be an ACL or meniscus or you might have just hyperextended it and it will get better in a few days. Either way if the pain persist I would see a doc asap.

Re: An injury(not completely sure if it is?!)

Thanks. I think I was running straight, and I don't notice any swelling. In the morning if it hurts real bad I TELL(LOL) my mom to bring me to the doctor.

good idea. ice/heat/ice/heat.

if u have any muscle relaxants, use them.

if u have any balm, apply it on the area: to the back of the knee and to the front.

i hope its nothing serious. maybe u just need to crack ur knee? i hope.

Re: An injury(not completely sure if it is?!)

Apply a torniquet just below your jaw! LOL
Let it rest, Ib's, Ice it. Could also be a calf strain as it attaches to the back of the knee.

Re: An injury(not completely sure if it is?!)

OK

here's what is going on:

I iced it for a good while. Rotated from the sides and back and front.

Anyways I dont feel as much pain when I walk on my tip toes on my right foot(thats the injured knee). But if I put all my weight on it then it hurts. Hope that helps...
