It might sound strange to you, but it is possible you need to go heavier on your lifts. Your pecs are stronger than your triceps, and as long as they feel the need to engage on the lift they will. It might be the weight you're using is too light, making it easy for your triceps to take over.

For a while I was doing mass workouts of 5-6reps per set using the heaviest I could and it didn't make much of a difference. I did get way stronger and gained about 5lbs of muscle mass but triceps were still off proportion. I'll ask the trainer to watch my motions tonight.
