This is the way all of you need to train........

...I was in the gym yesterday.

I get 90% of the thoughts for new threads and videos from the thoughts I have in the gym. I was thinking about my videos. My pictures on my website. All of a sudden, the thought crossed my mind.

"train like there's a spy."

What if I was slacking? What if I was caught lifting light weight? What would I have to say for myself.

This thought inspires me to stay on top side. It inspires me to keep lifting heavier weight, for more reps.

I get so many messages of people asking me how they should train. Not just in PM's here, but I get plenty of email from off my website and facebook account.

You guys want to know how you should train? Train like Quick is watching you from behind the hammer strength machines. Stay consistent in your training like Big Guns is going to be waiting for you there.... looking at you like you're late. Check your form like Malley is watching closely. Shut yourself up and quit your complaining like Strawser is there telling you to shut up and train.

Train like we are watching. No excuses, no nonsense, no reasoning..... just lift heavy weight, and do it over and over again.

....Thats how you should train.

Oh....CM.....I forgot to tell you.........I've been spying on you!!!
And it makes me train harder.

Great thread my friend.
Here's a weird reason why I have ALWAYS trained hard.
"if my wife leaves me...do I want to be the pudgy fucker that always says 'I Used To Be In Great Shape', or do I want to be the guy that at age 50 looks fuckin great for someone in there 20's."

You never know who you may run into, could be someone that ones a nutritional company for ex.

Thanks CM!!!!

I thought of you the other day. I was walking over to the leg press while some young kid was attempting squats, I am thinking to myself this is alot of weight for someone so small, as soon as I walk past him I hear a loud crash. The bar rolled off his back and he went down with it. What did he do? He did what CM would have wanted him to do. He re racked the weight and tried it again, with me spotting him. Both of his friends took a break from their barbell curls to laugh at him.

You're a good man Oval. Fuck those bicep buddies who laughed. At least the kid got back up and went at it again! At least the kid joined the elite of all training clubs. The club of those who squat. You should get the "board member of the week" reward. If we had a "board member of the week" award.

And this is why you train hard and work hard, but know your limits! Dont lift weights that you cant handle, but the weights that will benefit YOU! Just because Joe Smith is lifting 315 on the bench doesnt mean you should outdo him. Stay within yourself and lift smart.

BTW-Cool post CM
