MIEric's Starting strength

History - started lifting at the begenning of school this year...doing a split (I know big mistake) even though it wasnt optimal, I made some gains.

Started ripppetoes last monday


Here's the write up of my lifts (I know their low, but Im skinny so w/e) lol (plus I started out light)

Monday A
Squat - 3x5x85
Dead - 1x5x85
Bench - 3x5x80

Wendsday B
Squat - 3x5x90
Overhead press - 3x5x55
Pendally Rows - 3x5x65

Friday A
Squat - 3x5x95
Dead - 1x5x95
Bench - 3x5x85

It felt like I could go up 10 pounds on squat monday morning, so I did.

Monday B
Squat - 3x5x105
Overhead Press - 3x5x60
Pendally rows - 3x5x70

Wendsday A
Squat - 3x5x110
Dead - 1x5x110
Bench - 3x5x90

Friday B

Squat - 3x5x115
Overhead Press - 3x5x65
Pendally rows - 3x5x75

Monday A
Squat 3x5x120 - Getting harder
Bench 3x5x95 - Still going up easy
Dead 1x5x120 - Getting alittle heavy

The deads last week with 95 were way too easy so I went ahead and used what I had on the bar for squat.

All the lifts are still going easy. But I can tell now in another month Ill be glad I started light. Im thinking of getting some 1.25 lb plates for when I need to make smaller jumps. (Itll happen eventually) Plus with the ability to make smaller jumps I wont have to reset as soon.

I Weighted 131 begenning of this school year, Gained roughly 10 pounds of muscle on a split routine. Was 140 at the Start of the Starting Strength program. Gained 4 pounds so far.

Started 131 - 4 months later I am - 144

Thanks bro, aswell, all of those squats are ATG (till my upper / lower legs touch)

Goal is to pack on some size, be strong / dense as hell and still be relativley small. (Want to get to 315 1RM Bench. 405 1RM Squat and a 500 1RM Deadlift (had to add the 2 1/2s to get 500, 500 just looks cooler then 495, ha!) @ around 170 or so
