Chest and Tris yesterday went like this.

Once again I did the dip first because I get the feeling that it works more of the musclefibers later on in my workout if I do

Dips
BW X 12
BW X 12
BW X 12

Flat Bench
110 X 10
130 X 10
140 X 10

Incline Dumbell Press
50 X 10
50 X 10
50 X 10

One Arm Machine butterflies
60 X 10
60 X 10
60 X 10

Close Grip Bench Press (superset with skull crusher)
55 X 10 skull X 5 with same bar
55 X 10 sull X 5
55 X 10 Skull X 4

Tricep pressdown
60 X 10
60 X 10
60 X 10

Wasnt the best workout I have had, but I was a little pressed for time.

great job tho. i hate it when i walk in the gym feeling like i've got to hurry. it always messes with my mind and i under estimate my rest periods.

nice dips. i think it's about time to add some weight to those.

I dont want to add the weight just yet. Iwould like to build up my benching numbers after dips first. I think that if I add the weight too soon, I wouldnt be able to work as hard as I want to with proper form.

even if it's 5 lbs it makes a difference. when you can do all your reps for a few workouts, it's time to add weight. plus, lower reps will help increase your strength more than the higher reps will.

OK, so yesterday was Back/bicep/shoulder day. I took my nephew with me to lift, for the first time in his life. I didnt have much time for myself, because I was trying to show him how to use proper form and judge what weight to use. I had him on a full body, light weight, high rep circuit.

as for me:

Seated Row

Bent over Dumbell Rows

Barbell Curls

Hammer Curls

10 X 25 Had to cheat on the last 2

Seated Military Press
10 X 90
9 X 90
9 X 90

Side lateral raises
10 X 25
10 X 25
10 X 25

Didnt do fron or rear delts due to having to stop and keep track of his form and proper technique. He was getting pretty tired on the later excersizes. I am proud of him. He is 15. He stand about 5' 7" and only weighs 98 lbs. He is a tall skinny kid, but he is tired of being that way, so he asked me to help. I am going to have him register here this week end and I am sure that he will be all over the teen board.
