im subscribed though | Ha, thanks. Well, my quads have been 22'' for about a year now, or at least 8 months. It has been getting denser and more defined but still small. My calves have skyrocketed since I started this. I suggest sprints to everyone(unless you have knee problems or something wrong with your legs) Quote:

Before I finally touched a bench, all I did was pushups. Got me to 115, but then I didn't know how to train. I only trained upperbody and no legs. When I did train legs, once I got to 135 I never went up in weight. Stupid me. But thanks, I understand where your going. |

2/12/08 Heavy Deadlift/Speed legs
Deadlift - 305X3,3,3 PR!!
Good Morning - 85X8,8(doesn't hurt my neck anymore)
Clean and Jerk - 125X3,2 (Both were really sloppy, going to go down and work on form)
Jumps - 28in. X5,5,5
Crunches - BWX100
The only reason crunches are in there are for football, our football team is working up to 1000 crunches in a row. Yes, 1000 no typo. One-thousand. I'm not used to high reps with anything, so those hurt a good deal. I'ma get used to it, and come out on top. Tomorrow is heavy bench and sprints. Thursday theres a possibility I won't workout because I'm going to Jacksonville to see my cousin for a while before he leaves for boot camp.
Be safe everyone. |

DB Press - 40X8(right)7(left), 3, 25X10
CGBP - 140X6,6,3 PR!!!

It was very sad, and had me really mad, but it's what he wants to do. Today is heavy squat, I hope how my day went won't mess up my workout. |

Doing 5 reps of clean and jerks will tire you pretty bad and can mess up your form. Stick with triples or doubles, and concentrate on form. In the clean, try to bring the bar as high up as you can and then getting under it. Remember to get full extension of your body to get the bar to it's highest position, it's that extension that builds the power and speed!
