Rows - 225X5, 3 (Used legs but still alot of back used)
CG Rows - 135X8,8 (Just back)
Jumps - 34 in. X 3,3
Short but good workout. I love rows, probably my favorite workout. Went from 135 using my legs alot to 225X5 using my legs somewhat in about a year. Tomorrow or Friday I'm maxing deadlifts, Sunday I'm maxing squats and bench. |

Today or tomorrow I'm maxing deadlifts, I'm shooting for 405 at most and at least 385.
Sunday I'm maxing bench and squat and I shooting for a 185 bench, although if it's easy I'll shoot for 195 or 200. And I'm shooting for 250 parallel squat. |

Rep Power: 1140 | Re: Young-One's journey to football success Damnit! I didn't hit my max but almost and ended up hitting a cinderblock wall and a wooden pole and busting my knuckle wide open, so it's bleeding right now.
Deadlift - 185X3, 225X1, 275X1, 315X1, 405X0,0,.75(got it up to half of my quad and couldn't go no more), .5(got it to under my knee), 385X0
Damn. I know I can get 405, I guess I'll give it about 2 weeks and then try it again. This Sunday is maxing on bench and squat, so hopefully I get happy with what comes from that. Also, went to get my permit today and failed the eye exam so I'm going to the eye doctor tomorrow. |

Rep Power: 1140 | Re: Young-One's journey to football success Last of my maxing. Did this on no sleep. Right, I didn't go to sleep last night. Damn games. Anyways, here's todays max:
Bench - 95X5, 135X3, 155X1, 185X1, 200X0, 195X0 (185 went up easy)
Squat - 135X3, 155X1, 185X1, 225X1, 250X1, 265X1, 275X0
So my official maxes are:
Bench - 185
Squat - 265
Deadlift - 405
Total - 855 @ 170
My goals for next max (which'll prolly be in a month or so) are:
Bench - 205
Squat - 285
Deadlift - 425
Total - 915 |

You got some good lifts man, especially at 170lbs. Great deads man!
Edit: Just saw that you're 15, you see many big 15 year olds that can bench 225, but never see one pulling 405 on deads!

Rep Power: 1140 | Re: Young-One's journey to football success Haven't worked out in a while, didn't really feel up to it this week. I'm going to look at past weeks PR's and set my weights for next week.
Here are some new goals I've come up with(by the end of summer break):
Bench - 200/250
Squat - 265/335
Deadlift - 405/485
Clean and Jerk - 135/185-205(really just need to work on form, I've got the strength/explosive strength)
Military Press - 100X5/125X5
Row - 225X5/265X5
Arms - 14''/15''
Chest - 43''/44.5''
Thighs - 22''/24''
Calves - 16''/17''
40 yard dash - 4.9/4.85
Seem pretty realistic to me. Time to get down to it. About 6 months, I'm going to work very hard and will accomplish these goals. |
