Good workout today. Cuttin out squats for a while due to too much hip and ass growth and not enough quad growth. Gonna be working on front squats for a while. Low reps on lower 1 and explosive high reps on lower 2.
Rack deads was somethin ive been thinkin of doing and decided to give em a shot today. They felt awesome as i though they would. I feel like they are safer on my back and just as effective if not more effective due to the higher load and similar ROM as far as back work is concerned. So im gonna keep em for a while. Short term goal is five plates by end of january! I found the perfect box to stand on to get me to my perfect level where when standing straight up, the bar is around 3-4 inches below my knee. Need to get some chalk though cause its hard on my grip. I felt like i almost slipped today.
Isos were great with short rest periods and awesome pumps. Calf raises were ghey on the seated machine, so im going back to standing next workout. Hypers were hard on my hammies and lower back as always. A great way to finish up. Did some random ab work at home today as well.
