LSU's its time to get HYOOGE journal

What's up everyone. Short little history about me. Been workin out for around 8 months doin things the right way. I currently have a journal at BB.com and i will likely post the same thing here on this forum. All and any advice is welcome.

I train on an upper/lower split four days a week with two sessions of HIIT cardio mixed in on off days. Mainly compounds with some iso work mixed in. I am currently at 180 lbs 5'10. My lifts are ok at best, but i am improving. Below is a link to my journal at BB.com and my first entry will be on my next workout day which is friday.

Ayyye....cant sleep so im gonna post my workout from today as can be seen on BB.com.

Lower 1

Front Squats 4x6@185

Rack Deads (3.5 inches below knee) 365x3, 405x3, 315x5

Leg Extension 3x10@130

Leg Curls 2x15@110

Calf Raises Seated 2x15@135

Hypers 3x12@+60

Workout Impressions

Good workout today. Cuttin out squats for a while due to too much hip and ass growth and not enough quad growth. Gonna be working on front squats for a while. Low reps on lower 1 and explosive high reps on lower 2.

Rack deads was somethin ive been thinkin of doing and decided to give em a shot today. They felt awesome as i though they would. I feel like they are safer on my back and just as effective if not more effective due to the higher load and similar ROM as far as back work is concerned. So im gonna keep em for a while. Short term goal is five plates by end of january! I found the perfect box to stand on to get me to my perfect level where when standing straight up, the bar is around 3-4 inches below my knee. Need to get some chalk though cause its hard on my grip. I felt like i almost slipped today.

Isos were great with short rest periods and awesome pumps. Calf raises were ghey on the seated machine, so im going back to standing next workout. Hypers were hard on my hammies and lower back as always. A great way to finish up. Did some random ab work at home today as well.

lol, deads never did a damn thing for my quads anyway. alll of my quad development has come from squats and front squats. rack pulls are for my spinal erectors, low back and traps.

to add....i wasnt sayin that my quads werent growin, just that my hips and ass grew faster than my quads. plus my legs are 25 inches (which is kinda big for a guy my size), so im kinda focusin on quad development at this point.
