Ate a banana and 3 scrambled eggs. Drank about 2 glasses of water. I love water and drink a ton of it a day as it is.
Started out with 10 minutes of pushing it pretty good on a bike w/ the moving arms.
Bench Press 60lbs x 12,10,10,10
Incline BP 40lbs 2x10
Skull crusher 15lbs 3x8
First day back from vacation so my morning was all jacked up. My routine is a mess and was unable to get the rest of what I wanted to do. Planning on waking up an hour early from now on to get in working out. That'll give me a solid 1 1/2 hours before I need to start getting stuff ready for work.
Diet today was good... Large green salad w/ chicken for lunch and am going to be eating chicken breast for dinner. I know I should be eating small meals many times a day, but with work it's difficult to stay on track with that. |

Maybe I'll fall back to my criminal justice degree and test on a department =). I am fairly sure I could pass the POWER requirements as is, but I would like to completely take out those requirements. I don't testing at something and being "average." Thanks for the encouragement guys. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Just starting out Ah work really puts a damper on life. Had to wake-up at 3:30 AM this morning and stumble my stuff together to drive two hours. Needless to say my morning workout was missed. I at least took time to do some crunches to at least get the heart pumping a bit.
I think the feeling in my arms and chest shows me that (a) I am really out of shape and (b) my lifting really did impact the body. Diet
Morning: (3) Scrambled eggs, banana - Multivitamin, omega 3 fishoil, protein shake, and my normal meds.
Lunch: 2 chicken enchalads... No extras and just ate the chicken from the roll. Limited choices due to my work location today.
Dinner: Banana and very small amount of spiral noodle. Work messed this part of the day up as well.
My water consumption has been very good. Due to my Crohn's, I usually stay away from dairy products. I mix my protein into a 16fl oz glass of water. I also consume another 16floz of water after that before leaving the house. I then make use of my $1.59 bottled liters of water to refill and take to work/leave in car during the day. Up to urinating roughly 1 1/2 to 2 hours. It's sad - I can remember going full days without having to urinate. I know - Real bad for the body.
Tomorrow morning I set the alarm early to wakeup and do the missed excercises. Tomorrow's focus is back and biceps. Depending on the muscle strain from tomorrow, I will focus on legs & shoulders Friday or move that into Saturday morning so I have a buffer between.
I'm not sure if I am on a placebo effect or if there is an actual difference. I do feel "healthier" if that makes sense. My sleep seems more satisfying, working out does not increase fatigue during day, and at least am having self-satisfaction. I will, of course, fill in my routines from tomorrow and I plan on beginning to completely track my diet & exercise routine. |

3 scrambled eggs, banana Supplements
1½ scoops whey protein
2x Omega 3 fish oil
1x Daily multivitamin
My normal meds Routine
2008-07-17
Bike
5:00 minutes
0.96 miles
86.6 calories
Lat Pull Downs
4x10 120#
Bent-over Barbell Row
3x12 20#, 40#, 40#
One Arm Dumbbell Row
2x10 25#
Wanted to add: Standing barbell curl; Extra 5:00+ (till fatigued) on exercise bike. Wanting something doesn't achieve it.
Definantely not happy with results or amount of routines performed today. Of course the workout today caused me to break a good sweat. The good news is I didn't feel nauseous after this workout as I did on day one. I am hoping that in a month or two that this is just a warm-up for me. |
