Today I just bought my first protein powder!!! I got it from meijers. Its Weider Daily Protein.

It is a 2.5 LB container, and cost only $7.50 because there were trying to get rid of them. I bought the last one. Heres some info on it.

Serving Size: 1/4 cups
Calories-100g
Total Fat-1g
Total Carbs-3g
Protein-19g

Ingredients: Whey protein concentrate, soy protein concentrate, natural and artificial vanilla flavor, soy lecithin. silicon diocide, acesulfame K and sucralose.


I am thinking about taking it in the morning, but am not sure. Any advice would be great.

Whey protein is usually best immediately post workout. Check out this thread and looking into adding some oats to that shake for carbs and fiber.

yesterday at the freshmen workout, at the end we did 40's. I got 5.5 and 5.6, the second fastest in the gourp.

Today is a workout with the varsity from 3-6, after I might lift a little upperbody.

Today was a pretty hard workout. We ran a mile timed. I got 6:50. That is the best ive ever done, but I didnt go 100%. Then after we did 12 100yard sprints from laying down, no rest. Then we got 1 minute water break, then 12 60 yard sprints starting from our back. After in the weight room a core workout, then hit hitting sled 2x15. Tomorrow is baseball tryouts at 5:30.

my god my biceps and triceps are sore today!!! I havnt worked biceps in months, and that hitting sled really showed me.

Just came back from the tryout... and I made the team! Im so pumped about it. Its an amazing team too. they play 5-6 days a week, all year long. They are currently #1 in michigan and #1 in the region (Midwest)!!! they just came back from a national tournalent down south and placed 3rd out of 55 teams. They said that they really want me on the team, and im probably ganna play for them.

goin out of town in a minute, I had a workout i did last night that ill post later. Im visiting colleges with my bro, whos ganna be a senior. Ill be back late Thursday night. Hopefully the hotels and a treadmill or somethin cuz 2-a-days start for football next monday

my workout was cut short due to an unexpected visitor.



On my "vacation" I visited colleged with my family, for my brother who will be a senior.

We visited a couple, Alboin, Loyola of Chicahgo, Marquett, and Carthregd.

At marquett I learned about a program they had where you can get you PhD in phycical Theripy, or with that program you can become a trainer, and some other stuff. I thought that would be something I would want to do when I go to college. They said during that program, you can specilize also in either althetic training or exercise science. They also do a busniess class incase you want to start your own gyn, which intrestes me.

Later that night I did some sprints.


Today was a bad day. I went to a tryout for the #2 team in the state in the Major division (the top division) and during the tryout, at the start, my left shoulder slid out socket. Its happened before, and takes a couple days to recover. The team has a tryout next weekend so hopefully I can do that one.

Also today before the tryouts I got all my football stuff I didnt know anything about all the pads and stuff so one of the varsity coaches followed me around the whole time and advised me what to get, and what size of everything. Next monday is also the start of 2-a-days. Cant wait.


Also, at the college visits my parents talked to my brother and I about the cost of colleges, I dont really want to share the info on the internet, but it made me relize that if I wanted to go to a college like marquett, private and out of state, I will either need to get out lots of loans and live a long time of my life having to owe money, or really focus on my highschool grades to get scholarships. It really opened my eyes how improtant it is to get good grades, and will motivate me to really work hard and make my life a lot easier in the future.

sorry about the lack of updates. THis has been the last coujple weeks. 2 a days for football. I am a first year football player and im on 1st string defence at defensize end strong side, im on 1st string offence as a wide reciever. And I am the punter/kicker. Today I kicked a 40 yard field goal, yesterday a 45 yard punt. I have my first scrimmage on friday. ill give an update on how the game went sometime. Tomorrow Ive got Freshman oriantation and right after that football from 5-7. I was also voted by the players one of the three team captains.

I havent really been lifting. Im always too tired after football. One the season starts and practices are easier, ill work something out so I can lift more.

SO yesterday I had football practice at 8 AM then two baseball games at 1 and 3. In the second game I got hit by the pitch right in the left elbow. I cant really bend it or anything. I have the day off today. I was planning on working out, but I can't now, and I wont be able to play football for a while, which sucks because our first game is wednesday. Also, school starts tomorrow

Edit: The scrimmage went well. I had two passes thrown to me, and i caught both for a total of about 10 yards. One catch I ran over a kid too .

ON D I started off slow, but ended good with two sacks in about 10 minutes.

On Wednesday I had my first football game ever. It started off me kicking the ball out of bounds, (ya I was nervous) but everything went good. we won 38-6, I alone had 8 points with 5 PAT's and 1 field goal of 32 yards, missing a 43-yarder. No passes were thrown to me. Ive got next game wednesday.
