Rep Power: 415 | 11/26/2008 Today I got my ass up early so I could do shoulders before I left for Virginia. It was a really good workout. I did barbell push presses for the first time and I really liked them. 11/26/2008
Military Press
5x85 5x95 4x95 10x65
Barbell Push Press
5x95 5x105 2x115 10x65
Behind the Neck Press
7x65 7x75 4x85 10x45
Dumbbell Shoulder Press
12x25 10x25 8x30 6x30
Shrugs and Rack Pulls too
After I got here I went for a 25 minute run at a really fast pace. It was great
My Dad lives in a development here, and I saw a sign for a Turkey Trot tomorrow and I really want to do it. Hopefully I still can sign up and what-not. |

Rep Power: 415 | 11/27/2008 I Am Officially A Runner So, happy thanksgiving, this morning I ran my first 5k road race. It was amazing. Being in a herd of over 3000 people was such a great feeling.
I ran a 24:48, which is pretty good. Compared to last year's results, I would be in the 33rd percentile overall, and the 50th percentile in the 15-18y.o age group.
I have decided to make this thanksgiving a normal diet day. Maybe I'll have some stuffing, but only if I can figure out a way to weigh how much I'm eating first.
I just don't have the desire to eat bad foods that I used to have anymore, which is good, except for when people make me feel bad. And, when my step-mom argues nutrition with me. To her fat-free half-n-half is healthier than regular milk. Despite the added corn syrup and sugar. Oy vey. |

I'm trying to do a 5K in january, but don't believe I'll be able to do it. The cold is really aggrivating the arthritis in my right knee. I'm defintely doing the 5K in June though. |

Thanks.
It was super cold yesterday morning. When I started it was in the low 20s. Luckily though I live in Hoboken, and I've been running in cold weather like that for the last month so I was prepared. lol
I'm really into it now and I've been looking for races coming up. haha |
