Last week I did 52.5kg/115lbs, and wasn't really satisfied with my form (I didn't write that workout down in this journal). Today I worked my way up to a new PR of 62.5kg/137lbs and I felt that form was spot on! I exploded the weight up, and I was pretty happy about the speed under the bar as well. I'm also suprised that I managed to push jerk that weight, since I'm long limbed, push jerks are pretty hard for me, and I really prefer the split jerk. Anyways, great day!
I also perfected the starting position and setup, so the first pull feels much easier. The only issue I can think of, is dropping lower under the bar on the power clean. |

Push jerk feels weird, I like split jerk though. |

Push jerk feels weird, I like split jerk though. | Yeah, it was power clean followed by a push jerk. Push jerk is basically a push press with a drop under, with no pressing movement. |

100kg/220lbs x 2 - HUGE PR!!
Chinups
BW x 13 - PR!
I finally benched 2 plates today, which has been a goal of mine for a long time! I really underestimated myself, I though I could only put up 90, but I actually did 100kg for a double! |

Great feeling! See if it was the US 220x1 would mean nothing, you'd need 225, so by hitting 220x2 you've also got at least 225x1, probably more like 230x1! |

I'm finally back from my vacation! I weigh around 75.5kg/166lbs and can't wait to work out again. My plan is to do a couple workouts just to see how my strength I lost, after that I'm gonna do a little recovery routine to get back to my strength level. When I get back in shape I'm gonna do a strength program while trying to lose some bodyfat. |

Did a few exercises just to see how much strenght I lost. Standing barbell press
A few sets up to 42.5kg/93lbs x 5 Chinups
5 normal reps + 4 super slow ones Bench press
Up to 70kg/154lbs x 5 Pulldowns
Up to 60kg/132lbs x 8 Dips
One set of 15 reps bodyweight Dumbbell curls
Up to 14kg/30lbs x 8 Thoughts
I wasn't actually very motivated to hit the gym again, but I kinda forced myself to start, and then I first touched the iron, I became hooked once again! Felt great to move some weights, now that I know at what level I am I can start planning my new routine. |

Give yourself 2 weeks to get your strength back! You can do it, by week 3 you should be making PR's again. |
