Did a bit of everything at the gym today.
10 minutes cycling.
3x5 full push-ups
3x10@70 leg press and 3x10@55 chin-ups (assisted)
2x8@80 leg press and 2x8@45 chin-ups (assisted)
2x10@16.5 cable row
1x5@20 cable row
2x5@16 one-arm db row/kickback
3x10@14 front raises
3x10@14 side raises
3x10@14 bent-over raises
2x10@32 step-ups
1x20@32 step-ups*
2x10@14 side lunges and twist
1xfailure arnold twists
1xfailure side raises
3x10@16 sit-ups
Five minutes cool-down on the treadmill and about ten minutes of yoga poses and stretches.
Diet about right, even managed to keep up my protein.
* It was at this point that both my legs went and I actually collapsed onto the floor because there was nothing left in them. Oopsie. |

My sister was visiting from Illinois last weekend. She's been doing Crossfit and was doing 155lb deadlifts 10 sets, perfect form (she's always been in tremendous shape). I was working at the time and all of my resident loser members kept going up to her just to have her tell them she was my sister and have them come apologize to me lol. It was great, nice to know I have everyone's respect though! |

No gym today. Walked about six miles.
All done using a resistance band (maximum strength), as many done in a minute (quality form).
1 min squats
1 min bench
1 min wall squats
1 min military press
1 min step-ups
1 min push-ups
1 min crunches
And repeated these so I did them twice over.
1 min rock and roll to stand
1 min burpees
1 min wall push-up
1 min skipping
1 min jogging
1 min star jumps
1 min lateral jumps
1 min side punches.
Diet pretty much on a par with where it should be. |

As far as I can see, I'm a bit broader across my shoulders but other than that, I can't see any changes. Weird but since Xmas I've put on 30 pounds near as dammit but haven't changed shape. Something's got to be up LOL
I feel a lot more solid though, a lot stronger. Meh, I'm not photogenic but there you go |

Got two workouts in today.
AM was this, this and this.
PM was a trip to the gym.
10 minutes cycling.
3x8@16 woodchops
3x8@16 arnold twists
1x5@111 deadlift
1x1@155 deadlift
1x1@177 deadlift
1x1@188 deadlift
1x1@199 deadlift (was going to do more but developed quite a severe headache and didn't want to lose form)
3x10@22 weighted decline sit-ups
3x5 bodyweight sit-up/lifts*
2x5@16 step-ups
* I'm not sure what these were. Kind of a half sit-up then pushed myself all the way off the decline bench so upper legs and torso were straight and only my calves were wrapped around the pads at the end. If that makes sense. Bloody hard work, whatever they were.
Diet good, just not enough of it (really have to remedy this, it's pissing me off). |

Its hard to get a feel for something with just one picture. Obviously much harder to do something like this for a lady as opposed to a dude considering. |

Obviously much harder to do something like this for a lady as opposed to a dude considering. | Problem I have is that I can't get anyone to take the pics for me. I can't ask my mum or sister as I'm fed up with all the "yuck, thats disgusting" comments, and my daughter hates it when I take my bra off (she's 12 and is funny like that, even though she doesn't actually see anything lol).
I'll try to get another pic or two but there's no-one good enough with a camera I trust to take them for me. I hate not wearing baggy t-shirts and jeans to cover me up. |

Took the dog for a three mile jog.
Damn...I'm a poet and I now know it...
Diet spot-on, managed to keep my cals hovering on the 2000 mark. I think I'm going to have to work out my BMR because if anything will hold me back now, it'll be my diet. |

I was on duty with St John's today covering a sponsored walk for breast cancer care. Everyone else was lovely and cool except me and Steve (the other first aider) because we were in our greens and baking hot.
Temperature was in the high 20 degrees C, humidity 70% or thereabouts and it was bright sunshine for the entirety of the nine mile hike over sand dunes and cliff tops.
And no, I didn't feel like much else after that. Touch of heatstroke, methinks (felt like it but six pints of water later on soon made me feel better).
Enjoyable day but my calves are killing me. |

Catch-up time...will write these up tomorrow, knackered right now. YES!!! |
